I'm looking for volunteers to donate items for our Valentine's Day party. Someone has already offered to bring Sprite and cups. However, we're still in need of plates, napkins, sweet treats (like cupcakes or cookies), chips, and candy. If you're willing to donate, please contact me to sign up for an item. Thank you so much for your help!

Warm today...gone tomorrow!
While it's been warm the last couple of days, please make sure students are dressed appropriately for recess in the coming days. Our warmer weather will not last much longer (got to love Indiana). They should bring a coat for outdoor recess. We will go out as long as there is no current precipitation and the wind chill is 25 degrees or above.
Homework:
1) DEAR Log
2) Math Practice 10-2
*3) Homophone worksheet*
*The Homophone worksheet is an assignment only for students in the 3rd grade reading class.

Wash your hands!
Flu season is here, and it is rampant! Talk with your child about the importance of washing his/her hands and not putting their hands in their eyes, nose, mouth because our hands have germs on them from everything we touch. Also, water bottles are encouraged in class as they cut down on germs at the water fountain. The bottle must be filled in the morning when the child arrives at school. WATER only (no flavored water).
